Question When will Terraria 2 come out?

Will there be a yearly sequel like COD?

Why would it need a new sequel every year? Scratch that -- why would it ever need a sequel AT ALL?!
The creator has already said many times that he would like to continue updating and adding content to the game we already have, for FREE, by the way. Why the hell would you want to keep paying for minor changes on a yearly basis?
If you really feel like you have far too much money and not enough games, go actually buy the CoD series. They ARE on Steam, after all, and still absurdly expensive to boot (CoD 1 for $20? LOL, Activision).

You guys take this too seriously, OP is obviously joking (or trolling).

This game started development in January, so the content updates should be frequent considering what all they created in just 5 months.

This game started development in January, and the game you actually have right now wasn't really what they planned to release, but when they showed a trailer for it people exploded with anticipation, and so they decided to release it early in the state it was (which was enough for me to get 52 hours out of as is. Think of the game you are playing now as a beta all most) and then release all the content they had planned for free. They already have loads of stuff they plan on adding to Terraria and they have said that by the end of the year it will feel like a totally different game. This game isn't going to get sequels, it's just going to keep evolving.
