NFS Shift 2 - Deactivate using Steam?

Ok, so it looks like Shift 2 still uses it's stupid activation crap, but I don't see a way to deactivate a computer. I want to reinstall on another machine. How do I do this?

Apparently activations are automatically revoked when you uninstall. Or, manually revoke in Windows games manager.

Essential question for me.
EA says nothing about this matter (negligent as always).
Its obvious they don´t care whether we spend all activations or not...
BTW, what sort of ♥♥♥♥ing DRM is it? Securom?

You have to mail EA for a re-activation , after a upgrade mine didn't work. But they only renew it one time.
After every new installation I have to mail them.
