Anyone know what causes this? sometimes the game stutters briefly when I open fire. Just enough to make me lose track of him (sometimes it stutters more, so the game really freezes for a split second. The funny thing is, I still often get kills or even killstreaks after that. Servers playing for me?).
Does anyone know where this comes from? The game runs flawlessly otherwise. |

CPU is geting choked by bad optimization of this game. you need quad core to run this game smoth. you can try to turn of shadows and maxout the AA in game.

not true.
-do you have nvidia or ati card? latest nvidia drivers should help(beta version maybe even better) -try turning off superfetch in services.msc(its fine to disable) -use a program such ccleaner to delete temp files and other files that accumulate clutter -reset modem/router all of these can only help but are no guarantee...depends exactly what is causing the issue |

Ok. Try these:
If you have ATI video card install Catalyst 11.1/11.2. Options : Disable AA, disable shadows and shadow warming. Also open console and write "/com_maxfps 200". Although people say that enabling AA provides better FPS in-game this is not an option for me. Here it drops. Use this settings and see what u get. (also open console and write "/cg_drawfps simple" to compare the FPS. |

I play through the stutter myself.. Sometimes worse than others. I only start raging when I'm getting bad hit detection.

In Windows you might find a benefit by uninstalling any NVidia HDMI Audio driver or ATI HDMI audio driver that your video card drivers might have installed. If you are using Realtek audio make sure the drivers are up to date and that you have installed the Realtek HD Audio Codec Driver too. |
