TF2 Voice Commands and Text Chat do not work

Whenever I use voice commands (either bound or using the keystrokes like C5, Z1, etc) I cannot hear the command being said by mt class and they do not show up in the text chat for the ones that are supposed to (like "Medic!"). Additionally, I cannot send anything in text chat. (I can open the text box window, however after typing my content and hitting enter, it does not show my message) As far as I can tell, nobody can see my words either nor hear my voice commands.

I tried reconnecting to the server, restarting TF2, and verifying the game files and this did not help.

This issue only takes place in multi-player mode, I can still use voice commands in offline mode.

It was working fine yesterday, however, I cannot get it to work to-day.

My system specs are the following:
iMac 27"
Mac OS X 10.6.5
Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 12GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4670

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is my main means of communication in the game since I cannot use the mic often.

EDIT: Ah I found out the problem. The servers I went to were having issues with the updates. Not sure how to delete this thread or close it, but I figured out the issue. No further assistance needed. xD

You might want to update to 10.6.7 while you're at it.

Ah I got the number wrong. Apparently it had updated to that since I last checked. I'm actually at 10.6.7.

You are not the only one. Just now when I was simply going to play online on Team Fortress 2 again, the voice commands randomly stopped working. I'm going to see if I can't fix it somehow.
