Beating level 30 on impossible?

I am trying to beat Fortix 2 on "Impossible". So far, I managed to beat all classic levels and all but one of the story line levels. It's level 30 that is giving me headaches.

My strategy is to surround the pentagram like shown in this video:

Problem is, when I try to close my surrounding in the lower right, the magic orbs kick in and the middle piece is not captured. Unlike in the video

Is there anything subtle I am missing. Or was the behavior of the orbs changed since the making of the video?

I'm not quite sure what you are speaking about. I tried it the same way as in that video and it worked fine for me. The game will always capture the smaller portion of something like that. So if you try to make a tighter circle around the pentagram, it should do the trick

That did the trick indeed. I shaved off the edges a bit and voià, it worked.
