Deep dispair - from a DS fan.

This game, this so called third of a series is beyond help as are those who made this pile of dung they call a game.

DS3 is by far the worst 'RPG' i have played, I'm wondering why one would call it a RPG its complete sh*t. You follow a ing path everywhere, i'm sorry but i don't freakin remember following a single straight forward path once in DS1, DS2 was more linear but still that game had more going for it then this POS rip off.

Then the inventory, what the hell is up with that, we have no thought on how to order our space anymore? Do we even have that hard choice of what to keep anymore? WHAT IS SO HARD WITH THAT PART OF THE GAME?! And these console terds wonder why we get the sh*ts all the time when games that should be PC focused get murdered by console ways of living..

RPG.. It is a dying genre, certainly with what i saw today from this abomination they call Dungeon siege 3. More like "Wannabe like mass effect but with more restrictions and less story or choice with a easily seen ending, 3"

Rest in piece Dungeon Siege.. RIP.

What do people find so hard about waiting until the game is released before they do a post-mortem?

Maybe said people have played the game.

Believe me it's nothing like the first game, the only thing good about it is the graphics and they are still consolish.

It's better than the previous two.

Your lack of elaboration or points implies that you're trolling.

You're also pretty much incorrect. The first two games had much more depth than this, and more customization. This isn't even the same game, really.

The thing is, why do you think that? Apologists aren't saying what specifically makes it better, or even palyable. Why? because everything and anything about the game is terrible. Absolute trash.

Story sucks, gameplay sucks, replayability is null, multiplayer is null, animations are awe strikingly terrible, dialogue makes the movie look amazing, the level designer was apparently impressed by the complexity of a drive-thru. Everywhere you look in this game you can see how little effort went into it.

Maybe you think theres something good in this POS, but what? Saying its better or good without any points as to why you like it is weak.

I don't care what you think. I enjoy it and that's all that matters. Keep revelling in your dirt

Once again, your lack of reasons implies that you're just raging at us because you're offended.

I try to avoid making statements like the one you just did, for the fact that they can so easily be turned against the user. I enjoy DS1+2, keep reveling in your dirt.

You need to go play DS1 again, Thats all it was.

Also even though the characters are pre-generated. They have much more depth of customization then the first game. The first game was basically. Melee, ranged, Magic, That was your customization. No skills. Although you did get a choice between two magic types.

Grid based inventory tetris is pretty much old school now. I think DS3 handles inventory management well.

i agree. DS1 was extremely linear with a few choices here and there for left to cave with loot/right to ruined tower with loot or carry on to where youre supposed to go.

the skills were also pathetic really. archery being incredibly overpowered, setting everyone to archery became god mode because nothing outside of bosses would ever get near you.

I know it's been a long time since DS1 and DS2, and maybe you forgot...but this is as linear as both the earlier games. In all 3 games, you only had various paths that go off the linear parth but that was only used to find bonus loot.

It's nowhere as near as linear. There were much bigger open areas with lots of secrets to find, interconnected areas, towns were not linear corridors but instead open with multi floor houses to explore (even hidden arenas in some), and some areas (like the desert) were pretty big.

DS3 is literally corridors...there appears to be some branching but that's about it. It's a totally different design.

There's a big difference in how "linear" is applied on the first DS games and with the newest one.
