Fallout 3 GOTY DLC issues

So yeah. When the hell do the DLC's kick in? What specific quests must I do to start broken steel, the pitt, anchorage etc. On all the playthroughs i've completed I never once had any DLC initiate itself.

You need to manually activate the DLC in Fallout 3's launcher. More info: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1302611

Once the DLC is active you will get a popup message, radio signal, and a quest marker that will lead you to the new areas. Broken Steel will automatically start once you reach a certain point in the main storyline.
