Ok i just got off the phone with EA support the the reson they are pulling games from steam is that they no longer want to work with Third-Party Distributors they have the own online Distributor store that being sead
yes they will still support your EA game on steam that they have sold but no new EA games will come to steam thats why the 2 new crysis 2 DLC never made it to steam you have to go into the game and get it from the EA store.SO YES YOUR GAMES WITH STILL GET UPDATES <--- we will see i hope there no delay in getting patches

This is wierd because EA are blaming Steam for crysis being pulled.

I'm still getting Battlefield 3 though no matter what.
That could sell more than MW3 for sure. |

I hope they're both flops, both companies treat their customers like crap.

From Pro Gamer,
"It’s unfortunate that Steam has removed Crysis 2 from their service. This was not an EA decision or the result of any action by EA. Steam has imposed a set of business terms for developers hoping to sell content on that service – many of which are not imposed by other online game services. Unfortunately, Crytek has an agreement with another download service which violates the new rules from Steam and resulted in its expulsion of Crysis 2 from Steam. Crysis 2 continues to be available on several other download services including GameStop, Amazon, Origin.com and more." |
