cant play game

I have silverfall and awakening.
The games install but do not play. A window pops up to give permission to play and thats it..nothing.
I read at atari forums to install silverfall and play before installing awakening, steam dont give this option it installs both.
Run steam as admin, run games as admin, try xp mode.
How did you fine people get this game to run?

Well I finally got it working, not the way I wanted but I tried everything else I could find.
A no dvd fix worked a charm. I see in the files "Tages" so maybe the win7 do not like this copy protection.

Did you try running as administrator with TagesProtection installed on your OS?
Just wondering, as I'll buy that game too, because I did it on the demo that was also not working, downloaded and installed the TagesProtection for Windows 7 x64, then "run as administrator" the Silverfall.exe on the Steamapps folder and it worked, now I can play without administrator privileges, just haven't worked out directly through steam, but I'll work that out.

If you buy silverfall, get Awakening also, it improves the game quite a bit.
You can use WASD keys and the mini map works better. You can still play the vanilla campaign with the improvements.
