I know this has been spreading around the forums as a major issue. I bought terraria today and whenever I open it steam says "Preparing to launch Terraria" then it says I'm in game then switches to online.
I've tried at least 4 times to uninstall and reinstall XNA4 and .Net4 and every time it doesn't change anything. Three times I used the microsoft website's .Net and Xna and the fourth time I loaded up the game and had steam do it. Still nothing. I've also verified the integrity of the game cache, and reinstalled steam and reinstalled terraria. I've reset my computer multiple times with no change. I've also added "steam://rungameid/105600" which is the shortcut to terraria and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\terraria" to my antivirus "always trust" list. I'm running a laptop with Vista, it has 4gb of ram and a 2GHz processor which all meet specifications so what is the issue and what can I do? Thank you.
