FEAR 3 Co-op?

I see that some people have gotten this to work somehow. I removed my router from the equation completely so there weren't any ports to forward and I got it working... For a time. At random moments during combat, it says "Lost Connection To the Host." What the hell? I AM THE HOST. I'm not sure if it's my friend disconnecting and the game is just booting me out cause there's no second player.
It seems totally random. Sometimes I can play for about 10 minutes before it boots me, sometimes I can only get to the lobby before it boots me, and sometimes it says "Disconnected" before I even get into the lobby. I know that it's most likely cause of the netcode (That will most likely never be fixed cause Day 1 Studios doesnt give a ) But has these random disconnection points happened to anyone else?

well i played for 30 minutes an there were NO dropouts, campaign coop was alot of fun but my friend was ign too much so i quit, and then he was unable to join so he invited me and it worked, it;s like if you go onlineonce, and then quit you can't join again except after closing the game and loading it again. It's ing brilliant fun though, the game that is not the unable to join a game bit

Nothing would be wrong with my connection. I dunno whats up with it. I forwarded my ports, and then just decided to say screw it and unplugged my router. I cant figure out whats going on. Most of the time I just get "Disconnected from Host" even before I get into the lobby.

Right after I failed at getting F3AR to start, I went and played The First Templar, and then after that, Lost Planet 2, both on Multiplayer, and both with the person I intended to play F3AR with, so it cant be either of our connections.

you're one of the group that is having problems with this game, I wish day 1 woudl hurry up with the patch because like you there are others who have this problem, and then there's folks like me who don't. There's a big discrepancy there, and I'd liek to see it fixed. There are more than 10 people hosting, you can look at the figures yourself, there are people playing this game, and in coop and mp modes who are playing it fine.

There is a spammer who states that tehre is a patch inthe works, but he provided no evidence of this. I did find evidence that they were working on an MP/COOP patch for Onlive users, perhaps there's hope yet that out of this a PC patch is forhcoming very soon.

Until then keep trying. If you wanan hit me up on steam my id is: korefuji Happy to help troubleshoot, or test if you can join me, and play or whether I can join you etc

Also send your information and issues to them via the official forums. That way you know they're going to see it - they've actually got active devs there looking things over.
