I have my copy on steam, and my friend bought a retail copy in box and we can't play in multiplayer mode. because we have a different checksum (I think). I have 5.0 OUMN and friend 5.0 OJMD. Any advice how to solve this problem?

Your best bet is to copy the EU3 directory from steamapps to another location, and then both of you install the latest beta patch from the official forum (into the new location). That "should" leave you both with the same checksum.

Top key for EU3 Chronicles stands for:
Europa Universalis III: In Nomine
EU3 Complete
Europa Universalis: Chronicles
or Europa Universalis 3 because I cant register this key in paradox forum. Other two works fine

You have 3 keys, two are easy, top one is for Eu 3 Complete on the paradox forums.

It was meant to work in EU3 Complete, but it doesn't. You have to get a new key. Follow these instructions.
