Won't install?

I've just bought the game, literally, a minute or 2 ago. It wont install? Tried it multiple times and even restarted steam a few times. Nothing. Click install, go through the norms and then at the end, nothing happens. Help??

Try this first. It can't hurt and it may help.
Exit Steam, find and rename the ClientRegistry.blob file. Restart Steam and the file will rebuild(takes about a minute). Sign back in and see if your game will install.

Are you getting any errors at all or is the process just dying? What are yo seeing how far is the install getting? You really haven't given a whole lot of info to try and trouble shoot the problem. make sure you A/V, firewall and DEP are not stopping the install process. Grant exceptions as required.

Got it now but just found the threads on dual core processors working terribly. Its true. Fail. Oh well, only 2.50

Aww, crap. It's such a good game, too. You can try using Task Manager to lock the game's .exe to one core. But that had limited success before.
