Is there a way to...
Not finish a stage by accidentaly touching the glowing spike? I already had many times where I was at 98% and touched that spike by accident while I could continue to 100%.

I'd like to see some sort of conformation from the user when you reach the final spike, rather than automatically cutting the rope and ending the attempt.
Even 'press space to end' would be sufficient, in my opinion. |

That's just part of the game, takes the difficulty up a notch

Whilst there's that way of looking at it, I see it more as an out of place frustration and moment of panic in an otherwise peaceful, relaxing game.

well, you'll just have to either move fast while tying around the spike, or move the object so you dont look at the spike (you need to actually look at the glowing spike for it to tie off).

I have to admit that this feels like a big oversight. It completely goes against the motivation for the game, and to say it's a feature seems lazy.
I understand that the controls are supposed to be simplistic and you can play it with just a mouse. But if you're going to release a PC game you have to take things like this into consideration. It would be so much better if there were a dialogue saying "Press X to continue." EDIT: I found a way! If you happen to complete a level by accident, instead of actually clicking the "End" button that comes up on screen, press Escape on the keyboard. This will return you to the menu screen. Then, click the level again. When it loads, it will resume where you previously left off. But you have about one second to move the object around because if you don't press anything it will just latch on to the nail again. But as long as you never click the "End" button you can keep resuming it. I really hope this helps some people out! Last edited by Perducci: 04-15-2012 at 09:01 PM. |
