Game works fine on my Windows desktop, however on my mac it starts with a mix of sliced pictures of my currently open websites or programs and strips of noisy color. You can hear the game in the background, and sometimes see parts of it, and you can interact with it, blindly click stuff in the main menu etc, but can't see anything. Already did the usual, checked files, reinstalled etc.
Anyone had this too? |

SOLUTION
Okay, dravu's fix does not tell the whole story. On your mac, go to your Documents. there should be a folder titled BIT.TRIP BEAT (you can also search for it in spotlight). Once here, you are going to want to create a text file. In this file, put the following details.
Fullscreen = no Resolution = 1024x768x32 WindowSize = 960x540 VSync = no MouseSpeed = 1.000 MouseSensitivity = 5 EnableKeyboard = no KeyboardSensitivity = 5 EnableGamepad = no GamepadSensitivity = 5 EnableVibration = yes Here, save it and put it in the BIT.TRIP BEAT folder with the following name: beat.cfg . Then, you will want to go and edit the file by selecting it in the BIT.TRIP BEAT folder and right clicking get info. Remove the extension that text file puts on, leaving only beat.cfg. Then, you should be able to run the game |
