ok say i buy a copy not for my self and for a friend through steam do they end up with the extra copy to gift

If you buy a copy through steam you'll get one copy free through steam which you can gift after you have bought the package.

Can someone actually confirm (via personal experience) what actually happens when you gift a paid copy of FS to someone?

I posted this same question in another thread, but I haven't gotten a conclusive answer there either.

I think we can safely assume that the person who receives the gift also receives the spare copy. That would make more sense, but hey, you never know.

Also, the fact we are even having this conversation proves just how awesome this game and its developers are, and why the game is well worth it at any price.
