Don't Buy till they drop to 2.5$

Original sale price was %75 off 2.5$ they changed it to 5$ minutes ago, lots of ppl were able to buy it from 2.5$ (It was prime time for all EU (19:00 to 24:00) before they changed the price to 5$. And when you see it's a daily sale price even there's a counter showing the remaining time you don't expect such things from steam.. Please nobody should buy it till they drop the price back to 2.5$ !!

I agree, it is not fair to make a sale price more expensive.

When I checked earlier I was sure it was 75% off as I was going to buy it when I got home. Just checked and it's only 50% now, wtf? ¬_¬

same here. Just as a matter of principles they are now losing sales on me. I already own the game but was going to gift some copies to friends... now? They get nothing, because they aren't going to buy it on their own either.

Well, I didn't buy the game for 9.99 because it looks like ♥♥♥♥, but it went down to 2.45 so I'm like *hmm get the 4-pack or the single ones* then when I was about to check out I see 14.99.....

Me: uhm.. excuse me! The price tag changed, mind fixing it please?

That's the advantage of digital distribution for sellers - nobody can argue for a lower price just because they found a sticker on a shelf saying so. A few customers getting in under the wire doesn't mean you're entitled to the same price.

The game is well worth the 5$. The 75% off was certainly a mistake. STEAM was actually paying for you to buy the game

So the promotion is 50% now, probably major part of STEAM's share but enough for some profit.

It was not a mistake, it was for 4 hours. If it was 4 minutes that would be ok. But I had it in my cart, and the raised the price. It's not a matter of whether the game was worth $5 or not. When I clicked add to cart, they should have honored that price, since it had been up for hours. It's called a 24 hour sale for a reason.

Agree too. It is not money problem, but principle.
