Results page on campaign

I don't get what the results page after I finish a stage on campaign shows to me, nor how it is calculated. I get for example two silver boxes and a score of 100. Is that good or bad?

Gold is always the best...Don't know the exact scoring, but it has to do with

- own units alive
- enemy units killed
- boxes collected
- hostages alive (??)

Thanks! But the number under score box is better when higher or lower? Does it have a top value?

I guess I suck at the game then, since I've never seen gold, only bronze and silver...

The higher the number the better. I think the top value is mission-dependent. It IS possible to achieve gold, but while playing through the campaign the first time, I also didn't got that many gold medals...have to retry I guess
