Uberchests (TM) question

How do they work.
How do I open them.
I heard I need to flip all levers on the current level and lockpick it - but idk.
Anyone knows?

You don't need to (can't) lockpick them, but a lever on the level opens them. You don't need all levers either.

I've found that the lever closest to the chest usually opens it.

I have come across 7-10 uberchests in my recent save and even after exploring the ENTIRE dungeon multiple times and switching every switch, NONE of them are unlocking, not a single one.

Same here. The 2nd floor of my dungeon has 3 Uber Chests and only 2 levers which I can toggle back and forth. 1 of the 3 Uber Chests just randomly opened the first time I came across it. But the other 2 Uber Chests will not open no matter what I do. The 2 levers on the same floor do nothing to these Uber Chests. It must be bugged.
