Incorrect Login

This isn't a misplaced password or something. I'm logged into my steam right now using the correct password. And it isn't Steam-specific either. I can't log into steam even using the website. It just sits at the login screen trying to load for about 5 minutes and then reloads saying incorrect login. Is it a server issue, or what? It doesn't seem like anyone else is having this problem.

I'm having a similar problem. I CAN log on via Steam, store, game library and all, but can't add money to my Steam Wallet. If I try to, I get the Steam Browser login page, DESPITE being already logged in. And there the same happens as you just described: 5 minutes waiting time, then it tells me the Login is wrong, though it is actually correct.

Might the recent Windows Updates have something to do with this?

You're not alone. I also changed my password but it didn't work. I was trying to buy a game (through the steam application) then it asked name and password again (even if I was already logged in). It just goes on for minutes then it says incorrect login.

This issue may have something to do with people not being able to even log into their account because their account name doesn't exist anymore but their Steam community profile is still working.

Similar issue here. Logging on fine. Seeing the store page, library and news fine. If I go to the community page or if I try to purchase something I get a screen that asks me to enter my username, pw and a captcha. After entering these things the system responds with an incorrect login message.
