What happened to ZC 2?

It was announced back in 2009 I believe and now it's like gone off the interwebs... Without a trace :|

I'm sure they are still working on it. They are a very small dev team, so it just takes time. On the bright side we have Rock of Ages to look forward to while we wait.

We announced the project a long time ago, but we also announced the game was being put on the backburner while we developed Rock of Ages.

We are a small team so working on two parallel games is a bit too much for us still... which doesn't mean we haven't done anything about ZC2 for all this time... it just means our priority has been mostly on working on Rock of Ages during this last time.

Zeno Clash is very important for us, so it isn't like we'll let it fade away.

Just finished Zeno Clash, and the ending was fantastic...until it became a cliff hanger! That's my pet peeve with video games, cliff hangers that never get a sequel...and there's a lot of them...

Well i really do not care about the price if the game is good. I mean, for the work this people did and are doing (considering their number) , and for listening to the community i think that they are more entitled to rise the price a bit, then... let's say... other huge companies/publishers that have a standard price of 49.99€ or 59.99€ for unfinished games, full of bugs that they are never going to fix, that are basically a remake of a previous ones...

I was disapointed to see that ZC 2 went on the back burner. The ZC world and the game play is such a unique idea that is left me wanting more after completing the game. Hopefully the project continues, and doesn't go the way of Starcraft Ghost. I really enjoyed the rough punk fantasy aspect of all the characters. I felt that is was a nice break from the typical polished 300 looking protagonists that seem to be in most video games now days.

There hasn't been a single Rock of Ages interview where we weren't asked about ZC2. We know how many people are waiting for a sequel. Thanks for coming here to post your concerns about the game!

I'm happy that you made Rock of Ages. It's an amusing game with a more mass market appeal than Zeno Clash, so I see it as a great way to fund Zeno Clash 2. I'm thrilled that you guys have business smarts in addition to amazing game creation abilities. Keep up the good work!
