im confused

i used to paly this game alot. a come back and now it stops me from playing and tells me to upgrade. i thought this was a full free game with a priced version for enthusiasts. not a money grab. i was very exited for mania planet but i feel now like this company does not want me to play their games they just want my money. so i guess now they will get neither... unless im misunderstanding something.

There are some server plugins that add "fuel" or limited race time, both of which require you to pay coppers to race more. This is not part of the vanilla game but an addition to get people to pay coppers to play on the server.

Personally I would just play on another server, it's unfortunate that one of the most popular servers has this plugin but there are lots that do not use it.
