Bulletstorm is still on the store, Crysis 2 is not. Both are EA titles.

It's all to do with Valve needing to make changes to the ToS when F2P appeared on Steam and they had to make it include paid games aswell so nothing could be exploited.

I'm going to have to agree with Headcrab_Zer0. If DiRT 3 has DLC available outside of Steam and purchasable in-game, and it still has yet to be removed, it pretty much proves our point: EA is lying. I very much doubt Codemasters have some sort of special contract with Valve allowing this, especially since EA is a much bigger publisher.

Also, you are completely ignoring the fact Alice: Madness Returns has new DLC released after Crysis 2 was removed and after the F2P introduction.

Proof that EA are still the disgusting slimy company they've always been.

1) Intentionally violate existing contract.
2) Force Valve to legally remove violating game.
3) Claim it's Valve being facists.
4) Typically braindead gamers fall for it.
5) Win moral highground when really it's EA's fault because they're not renegotiating their contract as everyone else would.

You mean the DLC that is available to purchase only on consoles, and not on the PC? The only way to get it on the PC is through the "Complete Collection" edition, unless that has recently changed.

Interesting, i'd bet on this rather than valve fault if i should bet on something

Still, i'm wondering about one thing: does anyone know if games purchased on Origin will stay "forever" into account (like how it works on steam) or they do expire after 1 year unless you pay some sort of download extension stuff?

It says there... unless you do not log in for 2 years to your account - then EA removes all your games (enjoy great policy)

On topic: I don't get why EA won't handle DLC like all the other publishers. You even see DLC that before was only available on GfWL on Steam (Fable 3, SSF4AE). Steam is certainly not the only DD where that DLC is available, they do not ask for exclusivity, if that's EA's problem.

I'm sure EA and Valve will work out a viable business plan for this, both parties will benifit from EA's games on Steam after all. I just hope it's before the release of ME3. :P

Yeah, that is BECAUSE of Valve's new policy. It is either put it up(Fable 3), have some kind of exception(Dirt 3 for some reason), or not be on Steam at all(Crysis 2).

Also I wouldn't be surprised if EA was doing that on purpose. They have a tendancy to be slimy bastards like that.
