4 months early is pretty darn early.
you can get the digital pre order bonus a day before it releases. seems like a bad trend in gaming imho. i don't pay for anything else early, especially if it's a digital product that couldn't possibly sell out. anyway, game looks kick ♥♥♥ and silly good fun. can't wait. |

What if I theoretically owned a icecream store that is going to see its opening in a couple months time. I want to promote sales by offering free toppings the first week. It would predictably boost sales and give wider notice. Last edited by psiops: 07-27-2011 at 01:48 PM. |

The only reason I don't like it is because it makes the wait feel soooo much longer.

Uhh what.
Pre-ordering is great. I payed the 50 euros now, because around that time Battlefield 3 (if it's on Steam)Batman Arkham City and Assassins Creed come out as well. So that's another 150 euros. Spreading it those costs out makes it easier. |

When you preorder on Steam your credit card isn't charged until the game is available, so it really doesn't matter.
