i have tried following the instructions posted in the FAQ but i can not find the file that it asks to insert my key into. i have also tried regersting with Atari, but it tells me that my keys are invalid. Has any one got any pointers? I really wanted to try the D2 persistent world.

i have followed instructions from elsewhere to create the file using notepad but i still get the same message. Still stuck!

finally worked it out thanks to a hour of googling and trying other things. When i created the cd key file using the notepad it did not reconise it as a ini file. I just copied one of the other configuration files and edited it with the key info.

what did we do before google?
