Loading issues

I go to load the game and get a black screen with no visible possibility of playing apparently, at least for now.

phenom ii x4 955 black
xfx hd5850
4gb ddr2 1066
asus vh236h 1920x1080 main monitor
samsung 1440x900 secondary

the main screen is what im trying to run on. has anyone else had this issue and corrected it or is there a fix? googling doesnt help as there are far too many unrelated sites dealing with "naval warfare"

I have the same problem. Can still hear the sound, but the screen is just black.

GeForce GTX 480
driver version 275.33
DirectX 11.0

ok so i was reading through the other issue thread and found its actually the same thing were having.

disable your second monitor, go into the game, set the games resolution to your primary monitors native res, exit game, re-enable second monitor, play game...

sorry for posting a new threat btw with the same thing i didnt know it was the same issue lol...hopefully thisll help get the solution out there faster though

I tried that, the screen did show this time, but I couldn't click on any of the option

I'm having the same issue due my second monitor. To fix this problem easily without unplugging your second monitor, just head to "X:\Steam\SteamApps\common\naval warfare", right click on "naval warfare.exe" and open properties. Change to the compatibility tab and check both options "Disable desktop composition" and "Disable virtual themes".

This also works when other games are buggy at the start. Like a flickering monitor or, just like naval, a complete black screen.
