Hi guys,
Unlike some people that posted here, I search for information when I going to buy one. And Dead Horde called my attention, as an independent production. I’m a computer science Phd, so I know what is to work hard in projects. So, I spent 14 dollars to try it! I was surprised with the result. Dead Horde was much more fun than it looks at the youtube videos. First of all, I love co-op games (my wife too!) so we spent hours playing it. Secondly, the video was not THAT bad, my video card had some effort to display the maximum quality graphics. The sound and the idea of the game are great, as it is simple and truly challenging. I’ve tried to make some games before and, as an independent production, I think dead horde rocks. Hope the developers keep working on it. Some points that need improvement: Online connection and server: sometimes you can’t find then. Co-op online: I should be great if each player could be independent of the other and walk any distance they want to. Sometimes you die on an invisible wall created by the window between you and your co-op. Weapon bug: if you have 2 secondary weapon, one of then goes to 0 bullets and you change to another (ctrl) you connect back to the empty weapon! So you cannot reload it with ammo boxes. More stages: I think the game could have extra stages, so I could have more fun!! Last edited by Mutrol: 08-07-2011 at 08:32 AM. |

![]() One question about the weapon bug. Maybe it is not a bug. If any weapon is empty and you toggle to another weapon, you will no longer be able to select any empty weapon because this would be annoying during a fight. If a secondary weapon is empty and you changed to another secondary weapon, then you pick up an ammo pack, you should get for all secondary weapons at least one more grenade/puppet. A secondary/primary weapon must not be selected to be reloaded with an ammo pack. |
