The fear factor in this game is more like Dead space than any horror game(looking at you Amnesia), there is lots of action then a few thrilling moments, but very few that get you scared.
The story for the game is quite good, its based around a book with the same name. And i would definetly recommend it, even if you lack the current gen hardware to make it look super pretty it looks great even on medium or lower settings. If you have ever played any of the Stalker games you should like this, this is a much more linear game but that doesnt stop it from being an amazing world that you just want to spend more time in. Hell i would kill for a open world RPG set in the Metro universe, spend your days as a stalker roaming the wastes of Moscow looking for food, weapons, and ammo to bring back to your comrades in the tunnels. |

10€ is a good deal for this game.
Good? Developers and/or publisher calls Metro a 'flawed masterpiece'. So it isn't perfect but it is still a great game. It is very atmospheric shooter with great story. Be warned that this game doesn't tell you all the stroy, you must digg it up by listening to other ncp's comprehensions. Scary? Depends on how easily you get scared. I wouldn't call this a horror game yet it has some (survival) horror aspects. Recommend it? Definitely. Btw. System requirements are quite high so make sure your pc is up for it before purchase ;) Last edited by jarppi: 08-12-2011 at 09:29 AM. |
