I know that there's been a few threads like this already..
But cut to the answer: Will Skyrim be moddable with Steam or not? I heard that Oblivion and Fallout had some trouble with that. Are those games fixed now?

I'm sure it will be maybe not right on release date though, but give it time like the others, anyways you dont want to play skyrim the first time through with mods.

No issues I'm aware of with Fallout, there was a problem with getting OBSE to work with Steam Oblivion but someone from Valve fixed it.
I doubt it wouldn't work at all with Skyrim, after all moddability is something they advertise with. |

Todd stated that mod tools (the CS for the Elder Scrolls modders or the GECK for the FO modders) will be available for the PC out of the box. Oblivion and FO3/NV had little to no trouble for me with Steam+mods.
I hope this answers your question. |

Both Morrowind and Oblivion are playable with mods on steam.
Also does anyone knows if Skyrim is going to have Steamworks? Last edited by fenrirtokara: 08-14-2011 at 07:37 AM. |
