Major Graphical Error on Source Games

Whenever I try to play a Source game such as Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, or Counter-Strike: Source, my graphics completley fail. Things are rainbow colored, and the weapon models are completley stretched. What confuses me is that I can flawlessly play games like Killing Floor and Doom 3, which leads me to believe that it is something with Source.

Here is a link to some screenshots: http://steamcommunity.com/id/shadeslayer70/screenshots/

Here are my specs:

Intel Core Duo
6 GB RAM
Windows Vista 64 Bit
G33 Chipset

Thanks for listening

Source does not agree with your graphics card.

Well, it worked just fine for around 7 months before it refused to cooperate

Pretty sure this would happen with all games that require intensive use of your graphics card. Best bet is to say it's fried.

Maybe overheat on the graphic card then? or some files have gone corrupt in the folder.

I tried the "verify intergrity of game cache" and the "defragment cache files" options and it didn't say there were any problems, which confuses me

If the game is the same, and the computer is the same too, something you have installed have changed your windows behaviour.

Reinstall directx and graphic drivers.

Those "artifacts" that you see almost always indicates that the graphics card has been overheated or suffered some kind of damage. Have had it happen myself to multiple cards of mine, the artifacts doesnt always show up in every game, depens on the engine but you most likely will have to get a new card.

Try using -dxlevel 80 "as a test"* in your Source games launch options...

*Highlighted for Nekomancer! Or, i would be lectured again!

Does your GPU works fine in other games with better graphics? KF and D3 arent really that good.
