Lower resolutions?

I was disappointed to see the lowest resolution being 1024x768. My laptop is pretty terrible, is there any way I can set the game as a lower resolution?

Yeah, i'm saving up for a gaming pc, but this laptop is mainly for school

When you launch the game it should auto-detect your current display resolution and set the game to that regardless of what options are listed under the Resolution menu. So if you don't touch that you should be fine. If you need to reset your options you can delete your profile here:
\Program Files\Steam\userdata\33142021\107100\local

Thanks for replying, but my problem here is the lack of resolutions for lower end machines such as 800x640

What are the exact specs of your laptop? I for instance get about 25-30 FPS on my Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz + GMA x3100 combo. Did you try turning off the VSync?

i think maybe he is saying if you set your desktop resolution to 800 x 600 the game will default to this? you will have to delete your profile from the folder he mentions though to see if it works

yep it works for me i managed to get 1280 x 720 which is not in the resolution options

all you need to do is find the folder the dev suggested and delete Profile1.profile

then set your desktop resolution to the resolution you want to use in-game and once you start it up it should be fine
