Blackberry Curve 9300 or HTC Magic?
Hello. I have come into possession of a Blackberry Curve 9300, mint condition from my cousin. I am considering selling it off since I already have a Bold 9780. I got an offer to trade it for an HTC Magic.
Should I do it, or keep the Curve? |

HTC Magic is the Mytouch 3G on T-Mobile in the USA, correct? If so, it's garbage and you're better off with the Curve imo.

I'm Canadian, so I'm not familiar with the US names. But thanks for the input, I just needed to know if it was good or not.

Yup, google tells me HTC Magic=Mytouch 3G. In which case, absolutely not. The MT3G/Magic was a great phone during its' time. Which is long past. The 3.2" screen would be usable with a physical keyboard, but it doesn't have one and typing on it is just horrendously bad. It has a measly 1350 mAH battery. Normally I'd recommend any Android phone over the Blackberry Curve(or blackberries in general imo besides Torch) but the Mytouch 3G/Magic is definitely an exception.

According to Wikipedia, Rogers' HTC Magic doesn't have the Android 2.2 update.

Hah, thanks a lot. Guess the phone is a bad trade off then. Thanks again.
