Any old spider web exile&avernum fans?
Hey,
I have no idea about Avadon I dont know if I have time to play but I just bought immediately when I saw SPIDERWEB!!! After all these years, Exile & Avernum series , It is good to see a game in steam. I was 9 or 10 when I first played exile, was looking directly to monitor and understand nothing It's great to have you back |

I have known the spiderweb games for a long time never really got into them until Avadon. Really like this game. I'll wait with playing Avernum until the remakes. I'll hope they also come to steam.

I have played most spiderweb games. Definitely a delight to play always. Amazing how far good game design and interesting writing can take a game. Will definitely pick up Avadon this weekend.

I'm excited that Avadon is on Steam.
I remember playing Avernum 3's demo a real long time ago (2003?). I remember loving it for it's unique story and style. I never bought it, because the price was too much, and I was younger back then and couldn't afford nice things. I don't know if I'll have the patience to play these types of games. But I have nothing but fond memories. I'll probably pick up a demo or buy it on sale. And if it's as my memory remembers, I'll definitely buy the older games. (If they're on Steam.) |

A huge fan of the old exile games, used to play them so much even though I only had the shareware versions. The depth was amazing and few games can top it yet have such simple mechanics and UI.
Btw will I like this game if I liked the old exile games? looking to buy this one just because it's spiderweb who made it |

Hm, I still haven't beaten Exile 3, now that I think about it. I wonder if it'll run on my phone?

I insta-bought Avadon after having watched a gameplay video and hearing some of those old, familiar sound effects in it.
Excited for Avernum: Escape from the Pit to come out on Steam. |

Yes! I first played the original Exile games as a kid after stumbling across the demos on a Mac shareware disc. I remember anxiously waiting for the games to arrive by snail mail after sending in a mail-order form stuffed with some $5 and $1 bills and a few quarters (the only form of payment I had at the time).
I still remember exploring the Honeycomb in Exile, the "oh man, this really is a one-way trip, isn't it?" feeling of descending to the Vahnatai lands in Exile 2, and the "holy crap!" moment of first reaching the surface in Exile 3 (and again when I played the Avernum remakes later on). Good times. |

Now me want all Spiderweb's games :-) |

I can't even remember how many times I played through the huge "demos" of Exile I-III as a kid. I cut my RPG eyeteeth on Spiderweb games.
