Not sure what to do...

Okay, so I'm playing the role of a somewhat passive, good courier in this playthrough and I was ambushed by Benny. As I was fighting out, I shot a chairman, the entire casino started attacking me and I even get fought by the band who gives you a quest. Is there any way to reverse this? Or am I screwed in that regard?

The Charimen aren't a faction, so leave the casino wait 3 days and then return. They shouldn't be hostile anymore.

(I've never attacked the chairmen before, so I'm not 100% sure that they'll go back to being friendly)

Edit: If that doesn't work, kill Benny + his bodyguards and then leave and return 3 days later.

On the main Casino floor? He should just talk to you there.

I'd be interested to know how you got Benny to ambush you.

Well, I went into the presidential suite where he said he wanted to talk to me and he had all his bodyguards there. He talked to me and left me with all his bodyguards.
