Arrow 2011 Modern Warfare 3

2011 Modern Warfare 3 has the same graphic level of 2007 Call of Duty 4.

And they want 60$ for it, what a joke.

Call of Duty 4 was made for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, these consoles have the graphic power of 2006 PC hardware, PS3 has a Geforce 7800 GTX.

What is exactly new about Modern Warfare 3?

New graphics? No
New multiplayer gameplay? No
More players per map? No

How is MW3 progress from MW2?

I care what he thinks.

Though you forgot to mention higher graphics requirements for the same level of quality, due to declining optimization.

Source to where it indicates system requirements for MW3, or it never happened.

You do realize that Treyarch and Infinity Ward use different versions of the same engines, right? Treyarch's version is poorly optimized while IW's version allowed me to max out MW2 on my old 9600gt.

What is it with all those poorly informed people thinking their opinions actually matter?

It's not due to declining optimizations, it's because NVIDIA, Intel want people to buy new hardware and it is their interest that new games require new hardware regardless if it actually needs it or not.

wow.

MP gameplay and features hasn't been showed yet and you already are trolling about it. if you do that with everything else, my god what a life. If I ever saw you buying this game I'll put lemon juice in your eyes while you are sleeping. and if you are not buying this game, there are some people here that will still buy it, including me, so please try to see the pros and cons. and yes, there is. thank you.

This.

Surely Activision is totally being an , but opinions based on no facts are just stupid. I'm highly doubt about MW3 but won't make any judgement until MP gameplay is revealed.

The lack of MP gameplay videos has me concerned. BF3 has a fair number out there, but almost nothing from MW3. I won't be preordering unless I saw a lot more and it made me want to buy it.

Well...isn't it just two weeks further ? And BF3 has had MP videos up for longer than that. I don't hate on MW3, I just want to see if it is different enough in the end to justify a purchase.

Modern Warfare 3 graphics are exactly the same as MW2, we are in the year 2011 and Call of Duty are still selling us for 60$ a game with a DirectX 9 graphics engine from the year 2007.

Battlefield 3 is the better option, it gives us new DirectX 11 graphhics engine, we get vehicles, large maps and large number of players on the PC, it should smoke Modern Warfare 3.

I made a video comparing the graphics quality of COD4, MW2, Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 and it shows how Activision is selling us a game for 60$ that is basically a new map pack of Modern Warfare 2.

Cevat Yerli(CEO of Crytek) said that they didn't use any dx10+ stuff cuz...there's not that much difference
