Open World Games on Steam

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if I'm missing any open world games on Steam. Open world games have proven to be my favorite type, and I'd always love to try out a few more. I'd love it if you could recommend semi-new games, within three? years or so. I do have Morrowind as a disk copy, so please do not recommend that. I'm a fan of every genre. Please make sure it's on Steam .

Games List

Thanks, Dune

All the GTA games, Fallout, STALKER, MOunt and Blade,

More along the actions FPS style but still open world are Far Cry 2, Mafia, Vampire the masquerade bloodlines.

Saints Row 2 and Pre-order Saints Row The Third because they are the only 2 games you will need

I have M&B:W, planning on getting Fire and Sword soon . I also have all the new Fallouts, Stalkers, newer GTAs, Mafia 2, Far Cry 2, but not Vampire. Missed the sale last week sadly .

Been looking at Burnout. Do you like it? Are GTA 3 + Vice City worth it considering their age?

While not open world games, from your Steam list it looks like you'd enjoy Trine and maybe Bastion so have a look at them.

Beat Trine twice, love it . I'll have a look at Bastion, my friend was recommending it to me not too long ago.

red faction guerrilla; the gameplay revolves around blowing up/smashing down buildings. Story-driven aspect is pretty weak, but that doesn't detract from the fun of destroying stuff in any way.

This; I've spent almost two full days in-game on Red Faction: Guerilla. Very fun game, plenty of areas to explore and secrets to uncover.
