Can I play steam games online with Xbox Live users?

First off, if this is in the wrong section, redirect me.

But I was going to buy GTA IV complete pack here on steam. Is it possible to play online with people who have Xbox LIVE? I dont have a lot of Hard drive space, nor money, and online play ability makes or breaks the game for me, so i'd like to know this before i purchase it.

Thanks heaps in advance!

No, you can't.

As far as I know, the only crossplatform titles (PC-360) are:

Final Fantasy XI, Shadowrun, Universe at War: Earth Assault, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition and BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.

Microsoft abandoned their cross platform play as PC users we're consistently beating Xbox users (regardless of skill).

Portal 2 have crossplatform, but not with Xbox 360. 'Only' for PC-MAC-PS3.

Sorry yes your right, I did mean the 360. Probably could have written that better.
