How is the mouse control?
Does it feel sharp and precise? Any acceleration, smoothing or input lag?

Has some really bad acceleration as the person above me said.
I had to turn it way down for it to feel even remotely comfortable, but I guess I'll adjust. Really wish devs were better at getting mouse movement correct. |

I don't know how to describe it, but I can't get used to the mouse controls just yet. Either the settings are too sensitive or not sensitive enough...so right now I'm playing with settings that are a little too sensitive...I'm sure I'll get used to it as I play more. I'll keep you posted. I'm using 2 bars of sensitivity right now.
Also, I'm gonna run FRAPS the next time I play to see if maybe I'm experiencing low FPS (even though I'm using the default settings) and that's why the mouse feels weird when I turn and stuff... EDIT: So I changed some settings, I turned off VSYNC and also adjusted the FOV to the aspect ratio of my monitor (16:9) and the mouse control feels nice. Not really sure why the mouse felt so weird before, but it's a lot better now, didn't even need to adjust the sensitivity anymore. Last edited by orijinal: 08-23-2011 at 02:16 PM. |

No acceleration problems here. Maybe due to my very fast computer, or the mouse.
win7 x64 ultimate, i-7 2600k @ 4.6 GHz, 8 GB of 2GHz ram, ati hd6990 gpu, steel series xai mouse. |

The Y and X sensitivities don't match up very well...
I have my Y set about 3 higher than my X to make them the same. |

Honestly, it does seem to be a performance thing, not a mouse accel thing.
I had about .5 second lag on my mouse the first time I ran the game. I was then hit with all these popups saying that there was a problem with my graphics drivers and that I should lower my settings. After I turned most things down, it let me back in and the mouse problems went away. |

For me the mouse controls work fine.. It's like this for me.. Enter room.. Headshot closest guy, grab body throw at another guy, headshot other standing guy, melee kill last guy if he's still up or knock him out for the bonus exp.
No mouse acceleration issues. |

It seems to help with v-sync off. It looks like there is still some delay but it is more playable.

Just disable tessellation or dx11 disabling tessellation fixed the mouse for me.

Oh. MAN.
♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s. I remember that there even were a couple videos where they talk about how ''fantastic'' job they are doing at porting the game to PC, how they are optimizing the game for hardcore mouse and keyboard gamers. Last edited by ashais: 08-23-2011 at 03:20 AM. |
