Can't unlock Hall Mode

Hi all,
I've played through a bit of single player up to the 2 minute pendulum survival area, however I haven't unlocked Hall Mode yet.

Throughout the whole game and lvl 16 arena and tribal wars I've been using just the ball chain with no armour etc.

I've played past the slave/arena section twice just to see if there was a different outcome selecting different choices, yet neither of the playthroughs unlocked Hall Mode.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like you should have it, certainly sounds like a bug. Aside from playing around with the save files and stuff, you could always just start a new game and get it up to that point, since unlocking it for one works for all.
