Can't find my TF2 folder?

This may sound noobish but this has been plaguing me on and off recently. I've tried restarting Steam, my computer -and- I've tried deleting everything pertaining to TF2 and reinstalling it, yet that didn't help. I've also tried verifying my game cache -and- defragmenting the files, but that didn't help, either. Do understand that I can launch the game and play without a hitch, I just can't find the folder. I checked Steam>Steamapps>Games -and- Steam>Steamapps>Common and it's nowhere to be found.

When it initially happened, the problem seemed to fix itself. So, I'm unsure of what the solution was, but now it seems to be back. I really want a permanent fix and since I'm trying to install some custom skins, sounds, etc. I really need this folder to show up. Any suggestions?

Steam>Steamapps>Games
there is no such folder there is one with your account name it should be in there.
if not there you have more than one steam folder on the computer or you never launched team fortress 2 there is no other explanation.

whats wrong with the windows search function?

It is in
steamapps\<yournamehere>\team fortress 2

That is only for unpacked data though and the place to place your spray in.
The rest of the data is in gcf-archives in the folder steamapps.

It -was- there previously, but after I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, it seems to have disappeared. I've tried searching in Windows and it still doesn't show up.

if you deleted local content it should still be there , if you uninstalled from the windows control panel it is probably gone(not sure)

search your pc see if you have steam in more than one location.
I think you look in the wrong steam folder.

I deleted the local content. I'm searching in:

C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > Steamapps

Dude, as I told you before, I already did that. I searched all over the computer and I can't find it. I've several other games installed and they do show up in that particular folder, while TF2 is the only game that doesn't.

What the hell are you talking about? I said point blank multiple times that I searched for both Steam and Team Fortress 2 and Steam only showed up in the folder I specified, hence why I specified it. And Team Fortress 2 -hasn't- shown up while searching. This has happened to me multiple times and as such, I've understood that searching would be an obvious route to take. However, to no avail, it didn't work.

I looked in the program files manually AND I searched through the Windows search function. I don't have multiple Steam folders. If you don't know the answer to my problem, then stop reiterating with the same tripe.
