Lag fix that worked for me
Ive been having some severe lag issues in this game. I tried the HID fix but that didnt do much and i cant disconnect my mouse and keyboard (hear the microsoft keyboards may be an issue).
What worked for me was to turn my sound quality in the control panel down to 16-bit 44khz. (was on 24-bit prior) I then (optionally) went to http://www.mediafire.com/?tnyytylqmn1 to fix the issue of having a GFX card with 2GB ram. I can now officially PLAY this game. I tested it by runnung around the whole map without lag and can actually turn the mouse ![]() I hoope this can help at least one other intensly frustrated person

I forgot to mention there was never an issue with sound in the first instance just framerate lag. Also all HID's remained enabled and i got quite a few of them.

I tried the above link and it did seem to smooth out the game a bit for me. I have an ATI 5870 1 gig card.
It didn't increase my frame rate but it does feel smoother. |
