Tessellation On/Off Difference?

Can anyone else spot the difference when Tessellation is on or off? it looks the same to me, unlike STALKER CoP and Metro 2033... I've even tried custom settings in ATI CCC with no avail.

When disabled, it's reportedly improved character models for many graphics cards (namely, removing that weird holographic/"salt n pepper" appearance they have).

Tessellation is used sparingly in Deus Ex (mostly just character models).

the tessellation on the characters is just pointless, I also see no difference between soft and hard shadows, they both look soft.

Yea the 360 version is very freakin dark. But I like the one with you and Megan in the elivator. If you look at all three only the PC versions glass is not smooth. Its more like a design. Plus it looks like you can see more detail in Megans clothes than you can in the PS3/360 version.
