Mothership blueprint crash

Every time any of my ships pick up the mothership blueprint my game crashes to desktop stating cannot read .png file, is anyone else having this issue and if so how did you correct it?

by mothership I ment sunspot, and thank you for the tip about verifying it, I thought I already did it but it worked.
