People need to smarten up!

first look at your mistake you entered 0x.....

you can't put the 0x

also there is no longer any need to do that

someone came up with better way

it does not require you to edit any of their files like the dll and the pak files

so please put back original dll and pak files

please do a cache verify to do this

and use the new way

it has less risk of being vac banned, while we still don't know 100% whether it will not get you vac banned it looks less likely and a less risky.

Does anyone know if there is any harm (i.e., getting banned) if you make a backup of the save game files and then restore the backed up save game files at a later time? This would be immensely useful to replay missions.

but i dont think that would get you banned

editing their dlls/pak files ect would most like get you banned

Dude, stop yelling at people when you don't understand what's going on. This link: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...1&postcount=89 contains an alternate method for increasing the FOV. It's in the second quote. Try reading it.

To my understanding wouldnt you want both of those settings to be the same to have a consistent mouse sensitivity?
