First let me congratulate the devs for making such a beautiful and entertaining game.
Now at the matter at hand, Im kinda tired of replying the game so many times, its fun but only perhaps upto a point. after the 3rd time it becomes too repetitive. and that is actually very ok. I never played any game more than twice in a row, I usually give it a few months or even years so i completely forget the experience of playing it, and then I get back to it again. But E.Y.E wasnt like that . . . it was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed it . . . but . . . But I really wanna know what is the real ending, how is it achieved? I dont really care for spoilers, I just wanna know what it is, its been a month or so since the release, im sure someone has already achieved it. I say that cause from the threads i've been reading, every one is still guessing . . . I hopes someone has the answer. If you have the real answer, please satisfy my curiosity thanks

Well, tbh the real ending is that there is no ending
![]() Let me explain: if you already played through the game three times, it is to be expected that you got three different endings that granted you the three Gates spells. The three unrelated endings that you can get are: siding with the feds, attacking the temple and killing Rimanah; siding with your Mentor, and killing Rimanah, or siding with Rimanah, attacking the Jian temple, and then killing Rimanah. After you get this three different endings, at the fourth playthrough, at the beginning (inside the tutorial cave) you'll notice that a gate will appear. There you'll find your wife, which we'll grant you two choices: either continuing the cycle, which means you'll get to play the game again; or stopping your quest for whatever you are looking for, and find peace. She we'll also advice you to not break the seal if you choose this option. Should you choose this last opinion and you'll go to an island without anything, except a seal on the ground, which if you break will send you to the beginning of the game. So I think the game asks you to find, in your mind, the real ending...Hope I helped. |

Wait, so it appears on the fourth playthrough, not the fifth? There was another thread saying you have to play the game through the fourth time, and only then the gate will appear...

That is assuming you gather all the gate powers during each playthrough. You have to unlock the three gate powers, only then the gate will appear inside the starting cave.

Anyone notice that the supreme beast in the eden stage mentioned the gates? Has anyone talked to him after obtaining them?

I keep wondering if there's more to the mental island of solitude, since I seem to recall the devs were quoting that your ladder rating was a factor. Unfortunately, I don't think I've seen anyone successfully break down what affects the ladder score. It tends to be higher for me if I use the Damoceles sword a lot and score some backstabs. But do dialogue options affect it? Does dying affect it?
So I guess the question is, does the conversation with the lady in white at the end change depending on your ladder score? Or the Supreme Beasts? |
