Does Wheatley have several bodies ?

If so , then why doesn't he just transfer his "software" back into one of the dormant cores in Aperture ?

Well, at the beginning, he wasn't completely crushed by Glados, and when you see him again, he does look slightly damaged, sparking pretty often.

I tried to imagine Wheatley sparkling. At first it was funny, then it brought up horrible, horrible memories of tween vampire stories.

Actually, this reminded me of something else. Wheatley's "handles" or whatever you want to call them that are on all personality cores, are removed during the

Spoiler:

core transfer with GLaDOS.

---

This allows him to occupy more space and seem more imposing.
However, at the end of the game, the handles suddenly return when

Spoiler:

---

he comes out of the portal on the lunar surface. See this video for reference. The handles are still gone at 5:22, but inexplicably back at 5:28.

I suspect that they fold up into his body automatically during a core transfer, but pop back out when he's removed from the main GLaDOS body. Either that or he can control when they pop in / out willingly.

OR it was a random developer oversight / design decision. Make of it what you will.

You'd think that spoilers would only apply a month or so after the initial release. By now you either have the game or don't and if you don't you probably aren't visiting a forum based around the game.

After maybe two months I think you are responsible for protecting your self from spoilers.
