BUG: Gun won't shoot

This is really frustrating me and keeps on happening. Usually the first shot out of my kar98k doesn't even fire at all. I'll have a split second window of opportunity to shoot someone, I click and the gun doesnt fire. I have to click a second time for it to actually go off.

It's not a one off thing but keeps on happening. I keep getting killed because of it!

yep hate when I fire and the first shot doesn't come off. makes me think about how awful it must be when your gun jams.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

It's a bug, was in the beta as well.

One thing I don't quite understand is what causes it. We were discussing this on TS3 and some of us barely ever see it, but some players we know get it all the time.

Regardless, I'm sure TWI is working on it.

would be funny if they actually keep this like a roll of the dice with the real statistical probability of it jamming. I can actually entertain this feature, just screwing up people's game but better than a whole animation of you getting the gun to fire again. and you fire and it happens again... lol

they realy should incorperate jamming for realism sakes. it would create a little more emotion to a firefight if you rarely hear a sharp click and no boom while in the middle of an already intensive firefight

I had the same experience but then I figured it was because I must have interrupted the reloading procedure.
You can actually walk away from reloading your gun but then it is not fire ready. Could you have a look into this?

I get it a lot, and when it arises I should have killed that guy. Then when I can fire he's gone from view.

It is not a bug. All soldiers wear thick gloves. So sometimes it gets harder to place your finger on the trigger cuz of your gloves. When you check upgrade page you will see winter trigger guard. You have to upgrade it to prevent this to happen. Mostly you experience it after running because you dont hold your finger on the trigger all the time.

Alternatively, that's real life.

The bug in the game Tripwire said they cannot fix as they cannot replicate it. I imagine we'll just have to deal with keyboard generals such as the poster I quoted having the "explanation"

There is a WTG upgrade and its purpose is to allow you to fire while wearing gloves. So STFU. What are you going to complain about next ? Bullets are not going where you aim at ? There are lots of nice little detailts in this game and yes it's pretty buggy but not all of them are bugs.

the delay in the firing came after the spawn shooting bug i have a feeling they are related, but it wont matter because twi listens to no one but the dump files.
