Coop Game - Progress lost

Hello

My friend and I were played in a coop party until we got chapter 2, but just at that moment the game of my friend crashed!

However, after that, I proceded to invite him (as always) to my party, but he begins at level 1 and without guns (he was level 15)! So we tested that he invites me, luckily we have the level and all the weapons, but we have to start at the beginning of the chapter 1 (so, we should complete all that chapther again).

Is there any way to invite my friend to my party (chapter 2) but with his correct progress?

There is a save bug that some people have... Many said they have found solutions...

The best one I've seen was solo up to the lifeguard tower, quit the game (both of you) and reload and see if your saves are still there... If so, then try co-oping from their to the 'lighthouse' Stop/quit and reload the game... if you saves are both still there, you should be good by then.

I actually saw on guy that said they had to do this three times. One of them kept losing his save, finally the one losing his save...took and from then on, no problems...

This lost save bug usually appears if someone has a character already played and creates another of the same char to co-op with... IE, have a Logan in Act 3... and start a new Logan to co-op with.
Some have removed the first character so they can create one to co-op with...

No guarantees on either solution... Just posts that peeps said worked for them...

I made a mistake in my previous message, when I said chapter 2, I really wanted to say "the second location", I mean the St. Christopher's Church (chapter 5).

Anyway, I can't solo up to the lifeguard tower because when I start my game, it begins in chapter 5, however, my friend can do that because he starts his game after the prologue (chapter 1).

My friend is still on vacation on the beach, when he comes back home we will check it.

You can always start a new game from scratch, by choosing 'new' game from the character list.

This way you and your friend can start together... I've actually had three Purna's and 2 Xian's going at the same time at different levels.
