Failed to contact key server..

Please don't tell me Steam has ran out of keys, once again? How long does it usually take to correct this problem?

EDIT: I filed a petition. Everyone should do the same.

EDIT 2: In the mean while, Saga is going to start a Battlefront 2 gaming hub. For those of you who are in wait, register at www.FriendlyFireGaming.net

We'll coordinate some online play with Vent and whatnot.

Game installed just fine, but I'm getting this message when I try to launch.

It simply means that Steam has once again sold more copies of the game then the amount of keys they owned.. This company pulls this sort of crap all the time.

Having the same problem. Thank you steam for letting me purchase a game that you do not currently have the license to give to me. Like walking out of best buy with an empty box.

Someone once paid $600 for a PS3 at gamestop and walked out with a phonebook in a cardboard box.

Someone bought this game for me today and sent it as a gift. First they had the hardest time actually getting it to send. Once I finally got it, I had errors actually activating it. For some reason Firefox wasn't recognizing the link and I had to do some goofy command prompt thing to fix it. Now, after it's finished installing, I find out I can't even play the game because Steam technically wasn't even allowed to sell it to me? D:

Someone please tell me this Key Server issue thing will be resolved and I'll be able to play my game soon.

Are you actually being serious? I bought it mid afternoon yesterday, it's almost been 24 hours and still can't connect to key server. Steam really just don't care about their customers. One day they will lose us all due to these failures.
