Coder, looking for good mappers.

Hello, i am an expirenced source coder, looking to start a new project!
I have learned that a mod without good looking maps, sucks!

I can code various of different things. Exp system, working AI, ironsights, buysystem etc.
PM me, if you wanna make a mod with me, or comment this post.

I'm a beginner/amateur when it comes to map making though. (just about one week of mapping)
I have learned some important things for mapping, but also acknowledge I need to learn much more to ascend from amateur.

Maybe I could help with some simpler maps?

Else I'd like to know some more on source coding.

Can you post some screenshots of some of your maps?
That could be great

Even better. I can give you access to my current "project".

You can check Here for the steam group of a site where I'm making a map for.
(that's a map based on a website )

It's nothing fancy, like Shifty Pete's map. (damn that looks good)
And it's definitely not finished yet.
(still have to add doors, lights, decals, props, etc.)

The maps I make are based on Source 2009 and portal and the above project is intended to be used in Garry's mod (for site comics), but can be played in portal too.

Other games I can "base" maps on are TF2 and CS:S. So Multiplayer maps shouldn't be much of an issue. (I guess)

I think that skill comparison between me and pete would be:
shifty_pete >> GTX2GvO

The comics are good, but was that what you wanted to show me? I did not see any other screenshots.

Was actually allowing you access to the map itself.
(link to the map is in the thread that shows the comics)
Since I can't take a whole bunch of screenshots when I change a little fact on the map. That's just too much work.

Well, i got some ideas, but i don't wanna rule it all. The mappers should get their opinions too. And no, I'm not some total noob who asking for a team, because i can't do anything myself. I'm just wondering if any mapper would like to make a mod, now when a coder is available. Like the 2rd comment. "Coders are rare"
And btw, you have thread going on where you asking like: "Would you clean this map up?"
Just saying ^^
